An initial meeting will be held to review the client’s “wish list.” During this meeting, clients should be prepared to discuss the following information:

• Desired square footage

• Preferred house style (two-storey, bungalow, walkout, etc.)

• I can design from scratch but if you have any sketches, inspiration images, or existing plans you love and would like to modify that works too!

Interior design packages are also available to help bring your vision to life, with full interior design services offered upon request.

Following the initial design consultation, a detailed project quote will be prepared. Once the quote is approved, a 50% deposit is required prior to commencing work.

This is where the drawing begins. A custom design concept is developed to suit your vision while complying with the national building code of Canada and local regulations.

Preliminary drawings include:

• Coloured 3D views of the front and back of the home

• Site plan

• Floor plans

• Exterior elevations

Once the design is finalized, you may choose to proceed with additional detailed drawings to provide to your builder for pricing or move directly into full construction drawings.

Interior Design (Add-On Option):
Interior design services are completed at this stage if selected. These services include detailed interior elevations, plumbing hardware and fixture sourcing, material selection, vision boards, and interior renderings.

Once the design is finalized, we will begin preparing the construction drawings for permit submission. When the drawings are approximately 99% complete, they will be sent to you for a final review to ensure any minor revisions can be addressed. After receiving your approval, the drawings will be finalized.

In some cases, an engineer’s stamp may be required. Once all drawings are completed and stamped as necessary, the final PDF set will be emailed to you.
